As a Senior Director, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, you will lead Hasbro’s CSR, Sustainability and EHS practices. At Hasbro, we play with purpose. A day in the life as a Senior Director, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability:

CSR:

  • You will partner with the SVP to develop and lead Hasbro’s global Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability strategy.
  • Lead Hasbro’s CSR reporting practices including (i) public disclosures of CSR/ESG data (annually on the Hasbro CSR site), (ii) Hasbro’s comprehensive CSR reporting (biennially), and (iii) Hasbro’s Materiality Assessment (every 3 years).
  • Oversee and lead annual data collection and strategic completion of applications and disclosures for relevant business rankings.
  • Collaborate closely with Investor Relations to stay abreast of corporate and IR priorities for ESG. You will oversee the regular review and correction, of Hasbro data summarized by ESG firms and rating agencies.
  • Represent Hasbro externally and serve as the company’s representative on the SASB Advisory Group.

Sustainability & EHS:

  • You will develop and lead strategies and practices to meet Hasbro’s publicly-stated 2025 Sustainability Goals (25% reduction in energy consumption; 50% reduction in waste to landfill; 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions; 15% reduction in water consumption) and will help Hasbro set its first-ever Science-Based Targets in 2020.
  • Direct and oversee the collection of environmental sustainability data collection and be responsible for Hasbro’s annual public sustainability reporting and disclosures.
  • You will serve as a critical leader in Hasbro’s Sustainability Center of Excellence cross-functional team, working in partnership with cross-functional teams to drive environmental improvements in product, packaging, supply chain, and Hasbro facilities.
  • Champion environmental sustainability initiatives and demonstrate influential leadership at all levels of the organization to drive positive change.
  • Oversight of Hasbro’s Environment, Health and Safety (“EHS”) compliance program for the corporate headquarters and other RI facilities, including EHS requirements of OSHA, EPA, DOT, RI D.E.M., and other state and local regulatory agencies.

What you’ll bring:

  • 20+ years of experience in CSR, sustainability and EHS in a large publicly-held corporation.
  • Passion, energy, and commitment to CSR, sustainability, and EHS.
  • In depth knowledge of GRI, SASB, and CDP reporting.
  • Degree in environment management or related field and environmental certifications, a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with EPA, OSHA, and comparable regulations.
  • Strong ability to understand/analyze external drivers, set strategic priorities, and drive creative and effective strategies to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Proven leadership skills; the ability to inspire, build consensus, and work collaboratively across all functions and at all levels of a global organization.
  • Excellent communicator and presenter, with experience presenting to Senior Leadership and Boards of Directors.
