Compliance with the Electrolux Group Code of Conduct (CoC) and Environmental Policy is mandatory for all Electrolux suppliers. Monitoring and developing our supply chain’s sustainability performance is a task requested by Group Management to the global Electrolux Responsible Sourcing Program run by Group Sustainability Affairs. The overall program objective is to support the Electrolux purchasing organization with strategic information for their supplier decisions, build partnerships with our suppliers and support them in improving their standards to meet with Electrolux requirements. By supporting suppliers in improving their social and environmental conditions, the Responsible Sourcing Program has an active role in building and protecting the Electrolux Group brands to be in line with stakeholders’ expectations.

Objectives:

The Responsible Sourcing Manager EMEA deploys the Responsible Sourcing Program within the EMEA region, in charge of all activities related to reaching and maintaining Code of Conduct compliance for the region’s supply base. Activities are carried out in cooperation with the EMEA Purchasing organization, and analyses made to support decision-making within this organization.

The Responsible Sourcing Manager EMEA is part of the global Responsible Sourcing Program team and contributes to the overall program by cross-regional and -sector cooperation to secure Code of Conduct compliance across the global Electrolux supply base.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish audit needs, and define audit program, including conducting risk assessments of supply base together with the Responsible Sourcing team and Purchasing.
  • Evaluate suppliers’ social, environmental and human rights compliance systems both through on-site compliance assessments, audits and through other means.
  • Monitor root cause analysis of supplier audit findings, and drive implementation of effective solutions to enhance supplier compliance with Electrolux requirements.
  • Support suppliers in development and capacity-building activities to ensure sustainable compliant operations as well as sufficient capabilities and a culture of continuous improvements.
  • Support decision-making within Purchasing through evaluation of EMEA supplier candidates and participation in EMEA sourcing decision-making fora. .
  • Communicate supplier performance within Responsible Sourcing, to relevant Purchasing communities in the region and globally a well as to other internal stakeholders.
  • Day to day management and development of responsible sourcing resources in the regions including responsibility for personnel management, personal KPIs and annual appraisal and follow-up.
  • Plan and organize assessment work and supplier engagement projects efficiently and independently.
  • Responsible for costs and budget management for RSP activities in EMEA.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Competencies needed:

  • University degree in preferably Engineering, Quality and/or Environmental management, alternatively Law.
  • Solid and successful experience in supply chain management and auditing or compliance related work from a multinational company or an international third party auditing company.
  • Demonstrated experience of Sustainability initiatives within fields such as CSR, energy management, and/or Conflict Minerals.
  • Fluent English and preferably one or more of the languages spoken within EMEA.
  • Project management and leadership skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Good ability to work cross-functionally to negotiate and influence senior levels across functions and organizations
  • Independent and self-motivated personality, good ability to coordinate own work.
  • High level of personal and professional integrity and trustworthiness a necessity.

The position is full time and will require frequent travel within the EMEA region. Placement of the position can be discussed but should ideally be in or close to an Electrolux Purchasing hub or other major Electrolux location in EMEA.
