The Responsible Sourcing Manager is responsible for supporting the development of a global Responsible Sourcing program, including:

  • Increasing internal and external awareness of ESG risk,
  • Setting clear ESG expectations of vendors,
  • Developing monitoring mechanisms to hold vendors accountable,
  • Identifying high ESG supply chain risk by category and region, and
  • Developing innovative and industry leading improvement initiatives.

As part of this responsibility, the Responsible Sourcing Manager will analyze industry trends and perform peer benchmarking analysis; liaise and build relationships with key stakeholders across the enterprise; and, supply subject matter expertise to proactively identify, manage, and remediate ESG supply chain risks and opportunities. They will develop effective policy, training, reporting, and communications; build ESG-related due diligence, monitoring, and testing into existing Third Party Management processes; engage with vendors and internal stakeholders to capitalize on opportunities and/or reduce risk / impact at the category level; and, lead innovative and collaborative initiatives to drive transformative change across various ESG topics, including environmental stewardship, fair wages and benefits, diversity and inclusion, and human rights, as well as governance and ethical business practices.
