POSITION SUMMARY:

  • To monitoring factories in China/East South East Asia countries and ensure factories comply with the CR requirements.
  • To develop remediation with factory and perform training & Capacity Building to factories in China/East South East Asia countries.
  • To perform Social compliance/ environmental assessment to factories in China/ East south East Asia when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

Report Reviewing

  • To review IEM / 3rd party audit firm, BW, Higg index report and other brands’ reports
  • To clarify any unclear with IEM / BW
  • To update compliance data spreadsheet, IT platform/system and submit the report to Manager/Brand Lead for approval
  • To alert supervisor regarding severe violations and critical exposures
  • To support Global QA on evaluating IEM performance

Coaching

  • To develop realistic and sustainable CAP with vendors/factories
  • To provide advice and training to vendors/factories on robust and preventative management systems
  • To guide factory in the establishment of programs to address wages, working hours, and worker-management communication systems
  • To guide factories in the development of indicators to measure progress and impact of their corrective action
  • To support factories in identifying root causes of non-compliance and drive for sustainable improvement

Extended Engagement

  • To arrange extended engagement meeting base on the timeline via meeting, phone call or onsite visit.
  • To perform desktop review include KPI and supporting documents to ensure factory improvement progress is on the right track
  • To update sourcing the factory progress
  • To alert supervisor regarding severe violations and critical exposures or factory is out of the expectation

Training & Capacity Building

  • To analysis the data from assessments, baseline and/or survey
  • To analysis the endemic issue to define the training needs
  • To identify the program of Training & Capacity Building
  • To develop the material of Training & Capacity Building
  • To perform Training & Capacity Building to target supplier/factory.
  • To review the result and impact of Training & Capacity Building and keep monitoring the supplier/factory after the Training & Capacity Building.

Other Projects

  • To perform special investigation visit if needed
  • To handle Grievance case
  • To handle Special projects
  • To perform ad hoc assessment request by Sourcing

Audit and Reporting

  • To perform quality Social Compliance, and Environmental assessments whenever necessary
  • To follow-up and monitor factory improvement progress on any identified noncompliance issues
  • To ensure factory compliance in area of local labor standards, health and work safety, environmental protection at factory’s premises
  • Ability to draft clear and comprehensive assessment reports
  • To alert supervisor regarding severe violations and critical exposures

Other Requirement

  • Travel is required

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline
  • At least 5 years of CR experience. ( with at least 2 year Capacity Building/training experience)
  • Experience on Higg verification or ISO 14000 would be a plus.
