Assistant Manager, Supplier I&D—Procurement

Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Supplier I&D will drive the success of inclusion and diversity in the ELC supply chain by implementing inclusive strategies for diverse suppliers in the direct and indirect procurement categories, liaising with various organizations and diverse businesses, and managing the data and reporting requirements to meet or exceed the corporate goals for spend with diverse and small businesses.

  • Implements strategies with global category leads and internal stakeholders on providing opportunities to diverse and small businesses to increase Supplier I&D spend
  • Develop and maintain a viable pool of diverse and small suppliers to increase their utilization for current and future procurement requirements
  • Coordinates small and diverse business trade fairs, conferences and other (internal and external) outreach events; solicit support and participation from Procurement Category leads, internal stakeholders, and other operational areas
  • Supports the development of training and other educational materials related to the Supplier I&D program; builds relationship with global sourcing teams and educates on the awareness of the Supplier I&D Program; seeks to understand subcategory requirements across the enterprise
  • Manages diverse supplier internal database, audit, and tracking requirements, develops measures and provides reporting internally and externally
  • Analyze supply base, assess utilization gaps and target outreach efforts to identify potential viable minority suppliers
  • Collect, monitor, and analyze/interpret data from procurement systems and create various internal and external reports to track and report performance to supplier I&D goals and plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, cross-regions and categories to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to Supplier I&D and procurement
  • Act as a champion for Responsible Sourcing and Supplier I&D, educating and energizing colleagues in Procurement, internal stakeholders, and Suppliers

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education level: University degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years
  • Travel Time: 10%

Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.):

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, responsible sourcing and/or procurement
  • Previous experience running portfolios of diverse projects
  • High proficiency in MS Office including MS PowerPoint, MS EXCEL
  • Strong passion for corporate social responsibility
