Fabien Goa

Fabien conducts research on a variety of sustainability issues with a focus on business, human rights, and modern slavery. He supports BSR’s advisory services, providing analysis on sustainability leadership, human rights practices, and emerging issues across a range of industry sectors.

Prior to BSR, Fabien worked as a researcher and advisor in Amnesty International’s Research Directorate on a variety of human rights topics, including a focus on criminal justice issues in North America and the protection of migrant labor rights in Qatar and the Gulf region . Through work connected to the 2018, 2022, and 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup tournaments, Fabien contributed to the emerging sports and human rights movement, leading outreach and advocacy with sports governing bodies.

Fabien holds an M.A. in Migration and Law from Queen Mary’s, University of London, and a B.A. in Politics and Development Studies from the University of Sussex.
