Elias Witman supports our tech practice with materiality assessments and climate reports for high-growth companies based on the U.S. East and West Coasts. He has spent the last decade as a global sustainability professional that included program management for biotech in Boston, working at UNFCCC climate conferences in Germany, and CSR consulting in China, where he spoke at a 2011 BSR conference in Guangzhou.
Elias is passionate about foreign languages and is proficient in both Mandarin and Spanish and has conversational skills in German. He holds an MBA from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in Germany, where he wrote a master’s thesis on the role of public-private-partnerships and CSR approaches to sustainable development under the supervision of Dr. Uwe Holtz of the UNCCD. He holds a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Vermont with a minor in Environmental Studies.
