Ashley Lin

Ashley works with BSR member companies across industries on sustainability management and women’s empowerment, among other topics.

Ashley brings to BSR experience in corporate sustainability, sustainable food systems, and corporate social responsibility. Prior to joining BSR, Ashley worked with a food service management company as the Director of Sustainability, heading its sustainability department in higher education. There, she established and implemented a more sustainable supply chain from consumables to single-use items. She also developed social programs targeting high-risk youth, educational food sustainability campaigns and programs, and programs to reduce overall food waste. Ashley also worked with food distributors on a regional level, connecting them to local farmers and other hospitality partners to develop a more sustainable local economy. Early in her career, she worked within the hospitality industry, focusing on waste management of materials.

Ashley holds a M.P.S. and a B.S. from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in association with Syracuse University, with a focus in Sustainable Development for her master's degree and a focus in Environmental Law and Policy for her bachelor's. Ashley also holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies of Sustainable Enterprise from Syracuse University.
