        Sustainability Communication and Reporting at A.P. Moller - Maersk Group
        <p>We are looking for a colleague for a new position to lead sustainability communication in Group Sustainability. You will be part of a team of 7 people within CSR, environment, climate, health and safety. You will play a key role in communicating internally and externally how sustainability creates business value &#8211; and how our businesses create value for society. Start date is 13 August 2012.</p>

<p>We work with cross-Group policies and strategies, governance, stakeholder engagement, trend spotting, external strategic positioning and reporting.</p>

<h3>Your key areas of responsibility in brief</h3>

<ul>
<li>Lead our sustainability communication strategy and ensure buy-in across the businesses </li>
<li>Edit the annual Maersk Sustainability Report, incl. setting direction for the report, leading the reporting process and steering group meetings, ensuring a good process with stakeholders, etc. in close collaboration with the report project manager and the external copy-writer</li>
<li>Support our issue Leads in their internal and external communication, in collaboration with Group Communications and Branding.</li>
<li>An important focus of our sustainability efforts is to move sustainability from a compliance issue to be a competitive advantage and a differentiator for our businesses. Our communication strategy plays a key role in this respect by engaging internal and external audiences with compelling and fact-based messages about our approach and impact.</li>
</ul>

<p>The annual Sustainability Report is one of our flagship projects that we strive to improve every year, by communicating openly and honestly about our performance, even when it is uncomfortable, demonstrating how our industries play an important role in long term economic development of the societies where we operate &#8211; while complying with international reporting standards.</p>

<p>You will enter a professional team with high energy, humour, team spirit and mutual support. Your network will expand to also include sustainability and communications people in all our business unit with whom you will collaborate closely.</p>

<h3>The ideal candidate</h3>

<p>Our new colleague is well-versed on the sustainability agenda, with an energetic yet systematic approach and a particular ability to keep cool under pressure. The ideal candidate has a strategic communication mindset, academic business and/or communications background and has demonstrated clear results. A minimum of 3 years experience of strategic communication, including reporting, is expected. We expect candidates to have excellent project management skills. Fluent in written and spoken English is a must.</p>

<p>On a personal level, you are an excellent communicator with an ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, both internally and externally. You are able to influence and drive outcomes, especially when you do not have direct authority, through informed dialogue.         Program Manager R2Z at Nike
        <p>As our Program Manager R2Z you&#8217;ll lead, coordinate, and facilitate our overall portfolio of projects supporting our journey in the R2Z (road to zero toxics by 2020). These Projects include our external and internal commitments to zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in our supply chain. You&#8217;ll bring expertise on project methodology and best practices to define our project success/delivery criteria. The scope of management will be in working with project sponsors to define business benefits, business requirements, and project scope. Projects currently running are in the following areas: Green Chemistry Program; Water Program; Materials Sustainability Index; Global industry Audit protocol and tool; Training &amp; Transition Management; Stakeholder Engagement; and others supporting our commitments. Financial acumen is equally as important as you&#8217;ll manage our roadmap and financial commitments in support of R2Z. You&#8217;ll also work with other members of the team to ensure we incorporate R2Z commitments into our Compliance governance model.</p>

<h3>Requirements:</h3>

<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in related field, 2 years additional work experience in lieu of degree</li>
<li>Expertise on project methodology and best practices that have resulted in project success/delivery criteria</li>
<li>Previous experience in a similar project management role desired</li>
<li>Proven ability to multi-task and track multiple &quot;projects&quot; that are in scope for external and internal commitments</li>

        North America and Pacific Research Associate at UL Responsible Sourcing
        <p>UL RS is a risk management consultancy specializing in responsible sourcing solutions. UL RS has 30 offices worldwide dedicated to carrying out supply chain assessments that focus on child labor, forced labor, wage and hour issues, safety, and environmental concerns in international manufacturing and agricultural supply chains. UL RS&#8217;s Research and Development (R&amp;D) Department holds a dynamic and pivotal role, developing tools and services on best practices in responsible sourcing and labor standards in the supply chain.</p>

<p>The Research Associate will primarily be responsible for monitoring changes in national and provincial level regulations in North America (USA and Canada) and the Pacific region (Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, etc.). Other responsibilities will include management of and/or participation in labor standards projects and research, following and identifying industry trends through strategically-focused research- and relationship-building in the region, participation in local networking events, conferences, and trainings on law, CSR, responsible sourcing, and other related topics.</p>

<p>In addition, the Research Associate will be called upon to assist the R&amp;D Department in completing general R&amp;D department duties, including:</p>

<ul>
<li>processing labor standards data for use in client program benchmarking</li>
<li>conducting special research projects as needed</li>
<li>specializing in regional labor standards issues and developing tools to address these </li>
<li>researching and publishing the weekly company newsletter</li>
</ul>

<p>The Research Associate will report to the Global Research Manager, also based in Los Angeles.</p>

<h3>Education/Skills/Abilities Required:</h3>

<li>Superior written and oral fluency in English required, proficiency in a secondary language preferred</li>
<li>Advanced skills in internet research and standard skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li>
<li>Four year college degree; additional post-graduate degree preferred</li>
<li>Knowledge of labor laws, international labor standards and human rights issues preferred </li>
<li>Minimum two years work experience in CSR-related field or social compliance auditing preferred</li>

<h3>Position Details</h3>

<p>Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:</p>

<h5>Be a resource available to the Global Social Performance team on SE, SI and SIA workstreams. Help develop social performance strategies, approaches and methodologies for Business Units.</h5>

<li>Provide direct consulting support to the field globally, working alongside PGPA colleagues on the ground, to support social performance for asset development.</li>
<li>Deliver SE, SI, SIA workshops and training per the needs of the practitioners</li>
<li>Advise on stakeholder engagement techniques (such as consensus building), strategies, mapping and planning. </li>
<li>Advise on social investment strategies that align business and social objectives, add business value, build strong stakeholder engagement, earn trust and credibility to enhance Chevron&#8217;s favorable and partner of choice status. Includes focusing on: stakeholder * analysis, business &amp; social goals &amp; objectives, implementation, monitoring &amp; evaluation, and communications.</li>
<li>Advise on the implementation of Chevron&#8217;s Environmental, Social &amp; Health Impact Assessment (ESHIA) Process, PGPA&#8217;s role to deliver social impact assessment and stakeholder engagement and the implementation of other Processes and Standards required by * Chevron&#8217;s Operational Excellence (OE) Management System.</li>

<h5>Key contributor to building social performance organizational capability in PGPA across the enterprise</h5>

<ul>
<li>Assist in prioritizing BUs / teams for capacity building efforts.</li>
<li>Advise and develop organizational capability plans for field Social Performance practitioners. </li>
<li>Suggest opportunities and establish curriculum for organizational capability activities.</li>
<li>Identify subject matter experts to build bench strength in different regions.</li>
<li>Work closely with other Corporate Public Policy Teams (Strategic Research, Global Partnerships and Programs, and Global Issues and Policy) teams to build alignment around social performance organizational capability initiatives.</li>
<li>Assure that appropriate PGPA and other internal stakeholders are involved as appropriate in organizational capability efforts. </li>
<li>Support the Social Performance Community of Practice (CoP) work.</li>

<h5>Communicate and promote consistent application of the PGPA/Corporate Public Policy and Social Performance Advisors strategy, vision and mission.</h5>

<h3>Required Qualifications</h3>

<li>Minimum 7 years relevant field experience in Corporate Responsibility/Social Performance management systems with a focus on social investment, stakeholder engagement and social impact assessment.</li>

<li>Prefer similar experience in footwear and/or apparel industry.</li>
