This workshop will explore new solutions for the next stage of supply chain management practices to move beyond risk to opportunity. This will be a highly creative and participatory event – each attendee will share the key challenges facing them in advancing toward more sustainable supply chains, and the group discussion will be focused on identifying solutions for better collaboration and impact, and how to put them in place.
Some of the key questions in focus will be:
- How to drive supplier ownership for a sustainable approach?
- How to engage workers in implementing codes of conduct?
- How to build support for changing business practices, and what to do once procurement is on board?
- How to make progress on the broad range of topics, including human rights and labor standards, environmental management and ethics and business integrity?
