L'équipe BSR | Xueyan Liu

Xueyan focuses on office management in BSR’s Guangzhou office, with a particular emphasis on projects involving women’s empowerment, climate change, and environmental impacts in southern China.

Before joining BSR, Xueyan was a senior program officer at IUCN China, where she led project teams and networks in China to address ecosystem health, community development, and related issues such as climate change, governance, and watershed management. Prior to that, Xueyan was a program officer at WWF/TRAFFIC-China, where she managed the technical teams located in Beijing and Chengdu and worked on forestry and medicinal plant projects while overseeing project implementation on wildlife trade monitoring within the country. Xueyan has also worked at the First Energy Mining Company in Dusseldorf, Germany.

Xueyan holds an M.Sc. in Sustainable Resource Management from the University of Technology, Munich, and a B.S. in Economics from Nanjing Agricultural University.
