Associate, Advisory Services | Paris
As an Associate in our Paris office, Julia focuses on human rights, stakeholder engagement, CSR strategy and reporting, and conflict minerals. She also supports the Clean Cargo Working Group's member value team and BSR’s work on migrant worker rights in Jordan and the Gulf region.
Prior to BSR, Julia held various positions in the nonprofit and public sectors, including as a communications and marketing assistant at Ashoka UK in London, as a student consultant at the World Trade Center in Marseille, and for the International Labour Organization in Berlin. Julia also worked at an NGO in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, to train university students as peer health educators on HIV/AIDS.
Julia holds a Franco-German B.A. in International Business & Management from the Hochschule Bremen, Germany, and Euromed Management, France. She studied as a Fulbright Scholar in Boston and holds a M.A. in Sustainable International Development from the Heller School, Brandeis University. She is currently pursuing a professional certificate in Sustainability Management from Harvard University.
Julia is a German citizen, has lived in five countries, and speaks German, English, French, and Spanish. She is also learning Arabic and Italian.
