With a background in international business and stakeholder management, Giovanna supports BSR’s global work with companies in the health care and extractives sectors, providing a bridge between their strategies for both global and Brazilian markets.
Prior to joining BSR, Giovanna worked as a researcher in Sao Pãulo for GVces (Center for Sustainable Studies of Fundação Getúlio Vargas) on topics related to sustainable supply chain management, socially inclusive businesses, and sustainable development in emerging markets. She spent 10 years living in the Netherlands and Spain, where she developed her knowledge base in sustainability related issues, including entrepreneurship and diplomatic relations. Giovanna speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Dutch.
Giovanna holds a B.A. in Business Administration and an M.Sc with honors in Global Business and Stakeholder Management from the Rotterdam School of Management.
