Bridging cultures and enhancing collaboration, Adam works with multinational companies in China to help them understand the nuts and bolts of corporate responsibility in China, as well as with Chinese companies to help them learn the ropes of developing leading global CSR strategies. Since joining BSR, he has focused on strategic philanthropy and community development, stakeholder engagement, communications and strategy as well as BSR's membership and working group activities in Beijing.
Adam also supports BSR's CiYuan program, an initiative which builds innovative cross-sector partnerships to enhance the value of social investment in China.
Prior to joining BSR, Adam worked extensively in China's NGO sector. While at AIESEC, Adam established and implemented a CSR training program for over 500 students across China's leading universities, and helped triple the NGO in size. His two years at Plan International involved establishing its corporate partnerships function and developing several innovative partnerships with corporations in China, as well as providing training and advisory services on corporate-community involvement. Adam frequently speaks at CSR events in China and specializes in facilitating workshops.
Adam holds a B.Sc. in Management from the University of Manchester, where he graduated with Honors. He is proficient in Mandarin.
