Food Waste
Food waste is becoming an increasingly important issue to companies, regulators, communities, and international organizations. Better use of the food we produce can save companies and individuals money, reduce the pressure to increase productivity as the world faces constrained natural resources, minimize greenhouse gas emissions, and feed hungry people.
We work with companies to advance their understanding of food waste and loss—from farm to fork—and help them take steps to reduce waste through individual corporate action and collaboration with other stakeholders.
30%
of all food grown worldwide may be lost or wasted before it even reaches the end consumer
