BSR will host a workshop in Rio de Janeiro to discuss sustainability trends relevant to the extractives industry and priority issues for companies operating in Brazil and Latin America.
The session is targeted at companies across the oil and gas and mining sectors with operations in Brazil and South America. Supporting both individual company and collaborative value chain approaches is at the core of BSR’s mission: to work with business to create a just and sustainable world.
After operating in South America for more than 10 years, BSR launched its São Paulo office in August 2012. BSR’s partnership with sustainability consulting firm REVER creates a unique offering for companies operating in Brazil: 20 years of global sustainability experience to support South American companies that are expanding globally and on-the-ground expertise to help global companies operating in Brazil and elsewhere in South America address the most relevant sustainability issues facing the region.
