A better model of reporting is needed. That is the rationale behind the International Integrated Reporting Committee’s (IIRC) vision of a new reporting framework that brings together financial, non-financial, and sustainability disclosure to provide a more holistic accounting of business value. Now the IIRC has published its discussion paper, “Towards Integrated Reporting – Communicating Value in the 21st Century,” laying the groundwork for a new reporting framework.

In this webinar we will review the guiding principles and content elements of the IIRC’s discussion paper, and identify the key reforms proposed for corporate reporting.  In our conversation we will discuss some of the key challenges companies face in linking information about strategy and risk; financial and non-financial performance; and governance.

Join Paul Druckman, co-chair of the IIRC working group, and BSR CEO Aron Cramer, IIRC member to Executive Committee of The Prince’s BSR CEO Aron Cramer, a member of the IIRC, and Paul Druckman, for an overview of how the IIRC’s proposals are poised to influence the future of sustainability reporting.

Speakers

  • Paul Druckman, Chair of the Executive Committee of The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability Project and Co-chair of the IIRC’s Working Group
  • Aron Cramer, President and CEO, BSR
  • Virginia Terry, Director, Advisory Services (moderator)
