Electric Vehicles: Commercial Electrification
Electric vehicles (EVs) offer the potential of a carbon-free transportation system. However, electrifying vehicles requires new infrastructure and supportive policies, and while EVs are taking off for passenger cars, even advocates argue for only very targeted electrification applications in commercial vehicles. What is the future of electric vehicles for commercial applications?
Focus of the Webinar Series
In June and July, four 90-minute roundtable discussions on oil, natural gas, biofuels, and electric vehicles will allow experienced practitioners and decision-makers to ask questions and weigh in on fuel sustainability issues. Participants will have further opportunities to shape a shared, BSR-led perspective on what business should do to improve the sustainability impacts of fuel.
Format and Participants
These discussions extend from our recent Stakeholder Forum on Fuel Sustainability Opportunities and are part of our wider series of Stakeholder Forums on the Future of Fuels. At each forum, BSR will share perspectives on the issues, outlook, and role of business, and then facilitate discussion. Participants will be fleet operators, vehicle manufacturers, energy producers, and civil society and other interested stakeholders (see who attended our most recent forum here).
Registration
To participate, please register for the events individually using the links included on each event page. Participants should feel free to register for all four sessions, mix and match, or attend just one webinar, depending on level of interest and availability.
