Over the past years, BSR has explored how ICT companies can apply the Guiding Principles in their business operations. The BSR workshop will review the ICT industry best practices.
We will discuss the following areas:
- Lessons learned of years of experience working with the Guiding Principles
- Practical solutions to help companies address the Guiding Principles’ expectations
- Insight on how can companies contribute to the “remedy” expectations, especially when operating in non-democratic and fragile State business environments
Learning from a global round of discussions and numerous engagements with leading ICT companies and through different collaborative initiatives and projects, BSR will share findings from its version 3.0 of its report “Applying the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights to the ICT Industry”.
Speakers
- Susana Gallego Lobato, Corporate Sustainability & Reputation, Telefonica
