Job Description:
- Improve or maintain PepsiCo’s corporate reputation with key stakeholder groups including sustainable investors and NGOs: success is measured by positive feedback from external stakeholder engagements such as our in-person, or conference calls with our Ceres stakeholder network, positive feedback from investors via direct feedback, PEP inclusion in more funds/indices, and positive analyst reports/ratings/rankings on PEP’s performance.
- Leveraging external input and expectations, benchmarking and finding a way forward that works for PepsiCo is a significant part of the role.
- Make progress on human rights management - success will be measured by having a functioning governance system established, creating internal guidance and training for all employees, and getting human rights considerations built into existing processes.
- Provide insights and analysis on current and developing issues/influencers and implications for PEP’s business: Monitors and analyze key issues and the stakeholder landscape to ensure PepsiCo is appropriately engaging.
- Identify emerging trends and future looking policies, informs relevant PepsiCo colleagues and work to secure a plan to prepare or address that issue.
- Coordinate efforts for PepsiCo’s submission on various external rankings and support PepsiCo’s sustainability efforts and ensure they are communicated to critical external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Public Policy or related degree
- 5 - 10 years of experience with public policy related work
- Must be willing and able to travel 50% of the time
