CSR Jobs | Director Supply Chain Corporate Responsibility at Motorola Mobility
Purpose:
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a key aspect of Motorola Mobility’s relationship with our suppliers as well as being central to our own operations. Accordingly, we review supplier conduct and assess the risks and opportunities related to CSR through our supply chain CSR Program. The Program includes on-going monitoring and evaluation of supplier CSR performance through a variety of assessment activities. In addition, we work with our suppliers and external stakeholders to build CSR capabilities though training and other forms of engagement.
Job Description:
- Deliver the overall vision, strategy, and governance of the supply chain CSR program
- Direct and lead the supply chain CSR team (staff, budgets, engagement with suppliers etc.)
- Plan, execute, and drive the performance of the supply chain CSR Program in support of identified business objectives and expected key results
- Report on supply chain CSR performance to Motorola Mobility’s senior leadership team
- Coordinate CSR assessment of all new suppliers
- Understand customer and legal requirements with respect to supply chain CSR requirements
- Direct ongoing supply chain CSR materiality and risk assessment processes
- Develop and deliver internal and external training program
- Represent Motorola Mobility at industry associations and specialist multi-stakeholder supply chain CSR forums
- Update when required the Mobility Supplier Code of Conduct and contract language with respect to CSR
Required Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a core subject related to CSR, international development, business, engineering, operations, environmental studies or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- At least 14 years of supply chain CSR experience with at least 8 years of experience in a Management position
- Related supply chain and Manufacturing experience a plus.
- Experience in implementing CSR supply chain programs
- Relevant labor and human rights, ethics, and EHS training and certification a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel within Motorola Mobility, our parent company and, third party suppliers, and other external parties including trade associations and NGOs
- General knowledge of business practices and processes
- Program management skills, including proficiency in business tools and processes such as PowerPoint, Excel, databases, roadmap charts, and others
- Ability to travel internationally as required
- Ability to execute tasks independently and maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive data
- Excellent organization and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in an environment with large volume of data and reports requiring attention to detail
- Ability to attend late evening or early morning conference calls with other regions, as needed
- Ability to read and speak Mandarin is a plus
