Is it Time to Rewrite the Social Contract?

For some, the movement of the corporation into the domain of public goods is laudable. Government capability, integrity and resources are in short supply in many developing countries. Companies for which a stable, predictable operating environment is indispensable to business success find aligning the demand and supply of public goods to be an imperative for creating conditions for business prosperity.
