We are looking for a Global Sustainability Program Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating current sustainability programs, creating new strategies, programs, and policies, and driving content for internal and external communications related to Sustainability. Your role will intersect across many teams including Public Policy, Workplace Operations, and Data Center Operations. You will report to the Sr. Manager of Community Relations on the Global Workplace Services Team.

As an integral part of the Global Workplace Services team, you will collaborate across the enterprise with operations teams including data centers, workplace operations, procurement, travel and transportation programs, and social impact to gather, analyze and recommend actions that support our sustainability strategy. You will develop programs that provide clear value for the investment that align with LinkedIn’s core values. You will evangelize environmental sustainability opportunities that add value to our business and allow us to operate with integrity, respect for the environment and stewardship. Additionally, you will lead the ongoing execution of LinkedIn’s corporate Sustainability goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design, measure and evaluate global sustainability strategies that align with the environmental, social, and governance issues important to LinkedIn
• Drive environmental policy and compliance across the entire value chain
• Facilitate cross-functional goal setting in support of LinkedIn’s environmental management system working to foster a collaborative working culture across geographic and departmental boundaries
• Facilitate the company’s energy and GHG reduction efforts
• Report on company’s GHG emissions to appropriate entities in conjunction with our Communications team
• Evangelize the return on investment that strong sustainability practices deliver to a company that elevate the field
• Reinitiate LinkedIn’s Global Green Teams program by helping to identify Green Team leaders and aligning efforts in support of Global Workplace Services strategies
• Engage with external stakeholders to identify emerging environmental trends and best practices, and work to incorporate improvements
• Represent LinkedIn in thought leadership opportunities externally and serve as a company spokesperson on environmental matters

Basic Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree required, in environmental science, business administration, or related field
• 7+ years of sustainability program management experience in a corporate environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience creating and executing corporate responsibility, sustainability, employee engagement and communications programs
• Experience with facilities contracts
• MBA a plus in environmental science, business administration, or related field
• Excellent communication, collaboration, vendor management and customer service skills
• Ability to execute and develop complex projects and programs on schedule and on budget
• Ability to earn the trust of colleagues and senior management
• Ability to understand the unique LinkedIn culture and ensure plans are consistent with it
• Ability to manage projects across teams
