Marco brings a wealth of experience in CSR strategy, including materiality, governance, and implementation, and stakeholder engagement to BSR's members and clients in Brazil and South America. As part of the Advisory Services team, he leads projects primarily with companies in the food, beverage, and agriculture and financial industries to build more robust sustainability strategies and networks.
Prior to joining BSR, Marco worked as a consultant in Brazil and Italy with major industrial companies, focusing on CSR reporting, sustainability assessments, and environmental due diligence. Marco was also an intern for the Group of 77 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Marco holds a “Laura Magistrale” in Political Science, Department of International Relations, from the Università Statale di Milano, with a specialization in Environmental Law and Corporate Responsibility.
He speaks Italian, Portuguese, and English.
