John Anderson
President & CEO Levi Strauss & Co.
John Anderson was appointed as President and CEO in 2006. His 27-year record with Levi Strauss & Co. (LS&CO.) includes global general management experience with the Levi’s®, Dockers® and Levi Strauss Signature® brands. He also has widespread expertise in merchandising, marketing and operations. Previously, Anderson served as President and COO of the Asia Pacific Division, where net sales more than doubled and brand presence increased substantially during his tenure. As President of the Global Sourcing Organization, Anderson’s team turned the company’s sourcing operation into a competitive asset and continued to strengthen its responsible practices with suppliers around the world. Prior to joining LS&CO., Anderson held positions at Johnson & Johnson and the H.J. Heinz Company. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales.
Anders Dahlvig
President & CEO IKEA Group
Anders Dahlvig joined IKEA Group in 1984 and has held various positions since, including Store Manager, Country Manager of United Kingdom and Vice President, Europe. He assumed his current position in 1999 and has received various recognitions for IKEA Group’s work to promote diversity. Dahlvig is a member of European Retail Round Table and received the Swedish award for Good Environmental Leadership in 2002 for his independent and persistent work with environmental and sustainability issues. In 2006, he also received the U.S. Foreign Policy Association’s Global Social Responsibility award. Dahlvig is a regular keynote speaker at international conferences. He earned a B.S. in business administration from Lund University and a Master’s degree in economics from University of California, Santa Barbara.
Jeffrey R. Immelt
Chairman & CEO General Electric
Jeffrey R. Immelt is the ninth chairman of General Electric (GE), a post he has held since 2001. Since joining GE in 1982, Immelt has held several global leadership positions. In 2000, he was appointed President and CEO. Barron's has named Immelt one of the "World's Best CEOs" three times, and under his direction, GE was named "America's Most Admired Company" in a poll conducted by Fortune and one of "The World's Most Respected Companies" in polls by Barron's and Financial Times. Immelt is a member of The Business Council and serves on the board of the New York Federal Reserve Bank. He earned a B.A. in applied mathematics from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
