Cody Sisco has more than five years of experience working with multinational companies and collaborative initiatives to design and implement responsible sourcing policies and programs and advise them on human rights, sustainability reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

As project manager for the Beyond Monitoring Working Group, he works with companies to define emerging best practices related to responsible sourcing strategies, supplier ownership of compliance and continuous improvement, worker education and empowerment initiatives, and environmental supply-chain leadership. Cody led the development of and serves as the lead staff member for the United Nations Global Compact and BSR partnership on sustainable supply-chain management. He also currently supports the expansion of BSR's factory-based HERproject program by leading outreach to European multinationals and funders.

Previously, Cody worked for Redefining Progress and co-authored with Ansje Miller on "The Ten Actions of Climate Justice Policies," a guide for environmental advocates and policymakers to consider the world's most vulnerable human populations when creating climate-change regulations.

Cody holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and in English from San Francisco State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
