With the software industry poised to accelerate sustainable development, Cody leads BSR's work in this fast-changing and influential sector. As the facilitator of the Software Working Group, he brings industry leaders together in dialogue and action on the sector's priorities and potential contributions.
In addition, Cody is deeply involved in BSR's responsible supply chain management initiatives. Cody manages the Beyond Monitoring Working Group. He also conducts research on effective management systems and capability building programs for suppliers and the role of information technology in sustainable supply chain management. Cody also develops and leads projects on the internal alignment of companies' sustainability and commercial supply chain objectives and programs.
Previously, Cody worked for Redefining Progress and co-authored with Ansje Miller on "The Ten Actions of Climate Justice Policies," a guide for environmental advocates and policymakers to consider the world's most vulnerable human populations when creating climate change regulations.
Cody holds a B.A. in Urban Studies and in English from San Francisco State University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
