Fengyuan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate environmental strategy, climate change policy, and project management to his associate role. He is responsible for research, content, field engagement, project management, and delivery on a variety of BSR-led projects. Fengyuan applies his sustainability expertise to a variety of organizations and issues ranging from low-carbon supply chains to water conservation and stewardship.

Prior to joining BSR, Fengyuan worked at the Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau, where he managed international environmental cooperation projects with a wide range of environmental groups and business organizations. Fengyuan previously interned with GE’s Environmental Health and Safety team, where he focused on greenhouse gas inventory analysis, climate risk analysis, water benchmarks, and compliance study. He also performed scientific research at the Yale Center for Industrial Ecology on best practices to assess performance and progress in eco-developments in the Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area, China.

Fengyuan holds an M.A in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a B.A. in Electrical Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
