With a strong background in corporate environmental issues and on-the-ground experience in emerging economies, Marshall brings valuable experience to BSR's work in a variety of sectors, including transportation and information and communications technology. He has led product, service, and supply chain environmental strategy and assessment efforts for BSR members, and focuses on supply chain climate issues in work with the Clean Cargo Working Group. Marshall also leads BSR's efforts related to conflict minerals from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Prior to joining BSR, Marshall led the development of business services and partnerships at the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia and managed environmental initiatives as a consultant to major real estate companies in the Washington, D.C. area. He also has experience in sustainable business development as a Peace Corps volunteer and consultant in West Africa.
Marshall holds an M.B.A. and M.S. in Corporate Strategy and Sustainable Enterprise from the University of Michigan and a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College.
